Introducing our Incoming Children's Ministry Director

Hey Richview!

I'm thrilled to let you know that we have concluded our Children's Ministry Director (CMD) search. Some background: Joanne Leggat, our present CMD, plans to retire at the end of 2026. In the meantime, we are hoping to create a seamless transition in the ministry between directors. So, we decided to have overlapping CMDs for much of 2026.

The search for our next CMD started last August. It concluded with the decision to bring on Christine Weller as our next Children's Ministry Director. You may already know her quite well, as she is already a member at Richview, and has been very much involved in the life of the church, especially in Worship Ministry. You might also know that she has a passion and gifting for Children's Education.

Here's a quick bio for Christine.

Christine has a heart for helping children and families grow in their relationship with Jesus. She is passionate about creating joyful, engaging environments where children not only learn God’s Word but also discover their place in the life of the church.

As a credentialed minister with experience in education, homeschooling, and Christian communications, Christine brings a love for discipleship, creativity, and family partnership to her role. She believes the church plays a vital part in supporting parents as they raise the next generation in faith.

Christine and her family are grateful to be part of the Richview community and look forward to serving and growing together.
